The basic phone has a resilient battery that offers up to 5 hours of talk time and 8 days of standby time.
It is barely used, it looks great.
I just tested it with a 3G SpeedTalk SIM card (a T-Mobile reseller), and it worked just great making and receiving calls, so, your best bet is to get a SpeedTalk SIM card to use it with this phone.
Look for this eBay item number: 284534373956 (1 year prepaid with unlimited talk and unlimited text for $110.00), it is just an example, you can use your preferred GSM SIM card with this phone.
