For sale is a rare figurine of a wild boar pig made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century . Very hard to find in white and it's the first one I have seen in the painted version. The boar is standing on a base made to look like the ground in the woods. The figure is superbly modeled and hand painted to perfection with a nice gold line trim around the base. An amazing piece! The figure is 4.375 inches tall, 3.625 inches wide and 7.5 inches long. It is marked with the green shield mark underneath with the name Nymphenburg under that as well as an impressed shield mark to the front of the base and on the underside with the numbers 523 over 14 . There is something impressed in the shape of a small rectangle to the back of the base but I cannot make it out. Likely the artist name. The figure is in perfect condition. 20thC German Germany Schwein vintage
