BOXART BOXING MEMORABILIA

An official souvenir program from The Rumble in the Jungle, sold at closed circuit showings of the fight in Britain. The cover features artwork by LeRoy Neiman. In VG/EX condition.

Muhammad Ali met Heavyweight Champion George Foreman in Kinshasa, Zaire on October 30th 1974. The fight was originally planned for September 24th but was rescheduled for the 30th October (UK time) after Foreman suffered a cut in training. An ageing Ali shocked the world, knocking out the formidable Foreman in the 8th round.
