Here is a vintage coral tea cup and saucer from Aynsley Bone China of England.  This is the classic tea cup design, the top of the cup measures 3 5/8 inches in diameter, it is 2 inches tall (2 3/8 inches at the top of the handle) and the saucer is 5 5/8 inches in diameter X approx 3/4 inch deep.  Saucer has a small scratch 1/8 inch long that is thru the glaze.  Shown in the last picture.  Please review pictures as these are the items that will ship and the pictures show the actual condition of the cup and saucer.   Buy Happy!

Aynsley and Sons, Ltd, Longton, Staffordshire 1864-2014 manufactured Aynsley bone china. The company was first built by John Aynsley 1861, and was called Portland Works, in Sutherland Road, Longton.   John Aynsley passed away in 1907.  His company continued to prosper and was part of the Waterford Glass Company, and then the Anysley Group PLC in 1987.  At this time the company had grown large enough to purchase names and patterns from other companies such as Hammersley China Ltd.  The crown markings on the cups and saucers produced after 1904 are different from the printed marks.  I believe the Back Stamp used on this set was used in the late 1950's and 1960's.  I found no firm dates for this stamp but found a plate issued in 1958 with this stamp and another in 1965.
