Nott actually sure of the intended use of these shallow bowls/plates! They have scenes of the hunt taken from pictures by Herring which were at that time in the collection of the Copeland family  They are titled The Huntsman and Drawing the Dingle .
 Plates are  9 inches in diameter and approx 1 high. I think they may be of different dates - Drawing the Dingle is in very good condition with only very minor signs of use and the edging green is darker and whole - the back designs are also different
The Huntsman is in good condition with some minor signs of use such as faint scratches if you look closely, no cracks chips or crazing - green edging has some minor colour loss in places - please see all pics for details.
