This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA Marshall Space Flight Center Aerospace Engineer and Project Manager who worked on the early Saturn/Apollo to Shuttle Missions and was greatly involved in the design and structural integrity of the rockets used to take mankind to the moon and beyond. This listing is Original documents, handwritten notes and calculations relating to the "SRB" BOOSTER AFT SKIRT (houses the thrust vector control system that controls 70% of steering during initial ascent) with investigation documents on skin buckling on APOLLO/SATURN. Outer cap bending analysis as well as Engineering Change Requests are also included. 3 black and white appx. 8x10 photos (2 are on This Paper Manufactured By Kodak while the Engine photo is not). There is a two part 1975 Space Shuttle Cutaway Drawing and copy of the Teledyne Brown "A NASTRAN BUCKLING ANALYSIS OF A LARGE STIFFENED CYLINDRICAL SHELL WITH A CUTOUT" article. All items are in Very Good condition for use and age with some expected use/age and storage wear.
