This simplified version captures the JIMI tone and vocal response of the Woodstock "Controversy" and "Plus" models within the framework of the classic GCB95 package.

included are all the Dave Weyer mods used in the wahs built for Jimi during the Woodstock era, giving a great vocal quack, deeper low end, lower noise, plus the famous 10k output mod that makes this circuit work better into fuzzes than the stock vox and crybaby circuit.

just bolt into any modern dunlop or dunlop vox wah shell, no soldering.

NOTE: the installed version is shown for reference, there is no wah shell with this kit

features:

-Real 1970s TDK inductor from a newly uncovered stash in Michigan, very limited quantity. awesome sounding inductor!

-Foil & film capacitors like real vintage vox and crybaby for clear highs, good spectrum.

-TWO trimmers for even better control of grit, lows and volume.
a. input volume trimmer for volume matching. Or, set it louder than bypass for Hot Wah!
b. bias trimmer, set this one FIRST, to get your low end and growl, or CCW for sweetening up, or anything in between.

-tru-bypass, including Gagan's preferred grounded input method for reduced chance of switch pop. this kit finally eliminates the gcb95's non-trubypass, still in use by Dunlop as of mid 2023, 

-standard Dunlop CTS hotpotz for super long life, plus extended taper, similar to 60s vox ICAR pot.

-Special silicon transistors chosen to replicate the low noise transistors used by D weyer for Hendrix. Perfect gain range for beautiful watery, vocal wah tone.
