A pair of pretty Shelley "German Chrysanthemum" mugs. C.1958. 

Seconds ware pattern No 2377 German Chrysanthemum: Large pink and peach chrysanthemum head surrounded by small pink and blue flowers with green foliage on a white ground. Flower inside mug. Blue trim and handle. Entered into pattern book during or after 1958.

The back stamp is the 1940-1966 green cartouche mark. 

Dimensions: diameter of mug base 50mm (2 inches) / diameter across top of mug 76mm (3 inches) / height of mug 100mm (4 inches).

Condition: In very good clean condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, rubbing or signs of wear. Paintwork is all in good order with no fading to the pattern. Both mugs have a very good "ping" to them when lightly tapped.
