This traditional Japanese screen is 72" wide (4 panels, 18" each) and 36" tall. I do not know the actual age of the screen, but I know it was purchased by an American family residing in Japan in the late 60s/early 70s. The painting covers most of the screen other than the gold devorative border. This screen was displayed and has some wear. There is a hole in the fabric on the back of one panel that does not extend to the front (see photo). Also, a couple small tears, also that are only in the fabric on the back. There is also some wear to the black frame at the top on one of the panels (again, see close up photo). These are the most obvious defects; otherwise, general light wear. The photos are a good representation and are of the actual item being sold.
