Up for sale is a BRAND NEW, NEVER USED Nike "Backyard Gem" baseball.  It is in the ORIGINAL UNOPENED PACKAGING.  I do not believe that these are made anymore.  This ball is orange and black.  According to the markings on the ball itself, this ball measures 9 inches and weighs 5 ounces. According to markings on the packaging, the ball is an "NBG Backyard Gem" and is an "ultrasoft, backyard ball".

Other markings on the ball include:  "80391", "EKS", "9301005900".  The number underneath the bar code (on the white sticker attached to the shrinkwrap) reads:  "8 45840 01016 7".

NOTE:  Although the packaging uses the word "ultrasoft", this term is probably meant in a relative sense, compared with an actual hardball.  In my opinion, this ball is still pretty firm and could potentially cause injury or damage to property.  It should be used with respect and proper precautions.
