• Beschreibung: Die Zeichnung stammt aus einer Sammlung von Historien- und Sagendarstellungen mit nordischen Szenen und Themen aus der Hand des dänischen Künstlers Rondahl, der sich besonders als Zeichner einen Namen gemacht hat. Er lieferte die Entwürfe für zahlreiche historische, archäologische und literarische Schriften. Das kleine Studienblatt aus dem Skizzenbuch des dänischen Künstlers Rondahl zeigt die ganzfigurige Darstellung einer beinahe karikierend dargestellten Bäuerin mit Schürze, die die Arme vorwurfsvoll in die Seiten gestemmt hat.

• Description: The drawing is from a collection of history and saga depictions with Nordic scenes and themes from the hand of the Danish artist Rondahl, who made a name for himself particularly as a draughtsman. He provided the sketches for numerous historical, archaeological and literary writings. The small study sheet from the sketchbook of the Danish artist Rondahl shows a full-figure depiction of an almost caricatured peasant woman wearing an apron with her arms pressed reproachfully to her sides.
