Lots of dark patina and signs of age, please look at all pictures for item condition. Works great and closes securely and stays closed even when shaken. Looks like an old penny so its probably copper brass or both. It has a hinged attached lid that closes securely and a braided twisted rope motif. Great for a 60's 70's bohemian hippie retro ethnic India witchy victorian old apothecary curio style.
