Offered is this rare survivor iconic atomic mid century modern pop art culture acrylic and wood swag lamp light. As Austin Powers would say “Groovy Baby”.

Fixture measures 16” tall by 8.5” wide overall. White opaque center cylinder measures 16” tall by 6” wide. Six atomic design like cutouts of painted wood or pressed board surrounded the exterior, each measuring 12 3/4” tall by 4” wide; two orange, two turquoise and two very light yellow.

Power source can be direct plug-in or with the provided remote plug-in dimmer included with the fixture. See last photo of plug-in dimmer image.

Overall condition is good. There are a few small paint chips on some of the atomic cutouts. I would say that the yellow cutouts may have faded a bit over time. The white opaque cylinder has some hairline fractures which have yet to cause the fixture to be unusable. The cylinder also shows signs of discoloration. I cannot find a manufacturers mark.

Included is approximately 15’ of SOLID brass old gold colored chain. The fixture is intended to attach to a simple hook in the ceiling, however a custom 10” diameter orange canopy with hook is included to enhance overall design, if desired. This fixture could also easily be converted to a pedant style by use of an inexpensive hard wire canopy.

Light has been rewired and includes a porcelain single bulb socket.
