[Richard Nixon] -handbill promoting a rally.  “Republican Congressional Rally! See. Hear. Meet Richard NIXON”.  The 8.5 x 5 notice is unevenly cut at the bottom, suggesting it was printed two to a page.  That cut, lack of any printer’s identification, date or location, and lack of a title for Nixon makes this appear this was hastily produced.  It was likely passed out near the event to build a crowd, which would explain why no date or location is included. It would almost certainly have been used in 1946 for Nixon’s first campaign or possibly re-election in 1948.  As a promotion for a single day event, this would have been produced in relatively small numbers. Assuming it is tied to one of Nixon’s two Congressional races this is a rare, possibly unique piece of campaign memorabilia.
