Kids 12V electric RIDE-ON JCB Tractor & Trailor. The tractor would suit children between 4-7, although smaller kids of 8 or even 9 would probably still be ok...this is not one of the smaller cheap versions you can find from some shops - the tractor unit alone measures 93cm long x 60cm wide x 52cm high (I put a standard house brick in one of the photos to give an idea of the size).
The tractor has a tipper at the front operated by a handle and the trailer is fully detachable. The unit is powered by a foot switch (forwards only) and it also has a hand operated brake.
The steering wheel broke unfortuantely, but as you can see, I made a replacement out of MDF and smoothed off the edges - it works just fine and to be honest is much more robust than the original (my intention was to paint it black, but never got round to it).
The tractor is reasonably powerful, but we found it works much better on hard ground, particulalry as the kids got bigger - it will go on short grass when the kids are smaller, just not as effectively.
The tractor comes with a mains powered charger which connects under the bonnet - you simply disconnect the cable from the battery to the motor and replace with the charger wire.
One of the little fences on the trailer broke two of the pegs holding it on, but I fixed this with some glue and it has been fine ever since.
Other than that it is in very good working condition with a few marks as you would expect, but nothing signficant.
