Ihre rechte Hand ruht auf der Lehne, während sie die linke auf einem Buch abgelegt hat. Sie scheint in Gedanken versunken und trifft die Blicke der Betrachtenden nicht.

  • Description: Inscribed on the left "J. Muller". In the portrait format of the depiction an older woman has taken a seat in an armchair. Her right hand rests on the backrest, while she has placed her left hand on a book. She seems to be lost in thought and does not meet the eyes of the viewers.

  • Condition: Good condition. The margins of the sheet are rubbed, the corners partly bumped. A pale light margin surrounds the image. The upper margin is damaged by an earlier hanging.
