  • Beschreibung: Aufwändig gestaltete Votivkarte, in der Mitte die Darstellung zweier Figuren, womöglich Maria mit dem Jesusknaben. Sie werden überfangen von einem Baldachin. Florale Ornamente in Punktier Manier. Darunter die Worte "Památka ze Sv. Hory." Votivkarten oder Votivbilder, nicht selten kunstfertig gestaltetet, sind Votivgaben und damit Gegenstände, die aufgrund eines Gelübdes bzw. einer Verlobung als Dankesgabe für Errettung aus Not, Gefahr, von Krankheit u.a. öffentlich dargebracht werden. Die kleinformatigen Votivkarten enthalten in den meisten Fällen ein kleines Andachtsbild und sind mit aufwändigem Zierwerk gestaltetet.   • Description: Elaborately designed votive card, in the centre the depiction of two figures, possibly Mary with the infant Jesus. They are covered by a canopy. Floral ornaments in stipple manner. Underneath the words "Památka ze Sv. Hory." Votive cards or votive pictures, not infrequently artistically designed, are votive offerings and thus objects that are publicly offered on the basis of a vow or betrothal as a thank-you gift for salvation from distress, danger, illness and the like. The small-format votive cards usually contain a small devotional picture and are decorated with elaborate ornaments.
