Auf einem schmalen Weg im Vordergrund ist ein Reiter zu erkennen, welcher von einem Bettler um Hilfe gebeten wird. Über eine Brücke führt der Weg in den Mittelgrund, wo Badende in einem Fluss zu erkennen sind. Im Hintergrund ist die Silhouette einer Stadt auszumachen. Windmühlen und Kirchtürme im Hintergrund zeugen von einer aufmerksamen Beobachtung der Szenerie.

  • Description: inscribed "Dessiné par Le Comte", "Gravé a l'Eau-forte par De Saulx", "Term.né par Dequevauviller", titled "Le Coup de Soleil". On a narrow path in the foreground a horseman can be seen who is asked for help by a beggar. The path leads over a bridge into the middle ground, where bathers can be seen in a river. In the background, the silhouette of a town can be made out. Windmills and church towers in the background testify to an attentive observation of the scenery.
