  • Beschreibung: Unten rechts befindet sich der Blindstempel der Marées-Gesellschaft mit der Figur des Ganymed. Illustration zu dem Märchen Von den Fischer und siine Fru, Von dem Fischer un siine Fru, Van den Fischer un siine Fru bzw. Van den Fischer und siine Fru von Philipp Otto Runge, zu finden in den Kinder- und Hausmärchen der Brüder Grimm. Ausgabe von 1923, herausgegeben von J. Meier-Graefe mit einer Serie von 10 Lithographien. Der Druck erfolgte bei der Marées-Gesellschaft. In sanften Hügeln liegend, erblicken die Betrachtenden im Mittelgrund ein kleines Häuschen. Vor diesem, auf zwei Pflöcken hängend, ein Fischernetz. Mittig die Silhouette einer Frau, womöglich der Bewohnerin des Hauses. Im Hintergrund die weite See, über der sich die Wolken türmen.

Edition of 1923, published by J. Meier-Graefe with a series of 10 lithographs. Printed by the Marées Society. Lying in gentle hills, the viewer sees a small house in the middle ground. In front of it, hanging on two pegs, a fishing net. In the centre is the silhouette of a woman, possibly the occupant of the house. In the background is the wide sea with clouds towering over it.

  • Condition: Good condition. The sheet is mounted in a passe-partout. The edges of the sheet are slightly rubbed, discolourations in the area of the corners due to an earlier mounting of the sheet. Blind stamp below the image on the right.
