  • Beschreibung: Sorgsam gestaltete Votivkarte mit Blumenbouquet und Zierwerk. Hinter der Abdeckung einer Darstellung der Mutter Gottes mit dem Jesusknaben. Votivkarten oder Votivbilder, nicht selten kunstfertig gestaltet, sind Votivgaben und damit Gegenstände, die aufgrund eines Gelübdes bzw. einer Verlobung als Dankesgabe für Errettung aus Not, Gefahr, von Krankheit u.a. öffentlich dargebracht werden.   • Description: Carefully designed votive card with bouquet of flowers and ornamentation. Behind the cover of a depiction of the Mother of God with the infant Jesus. Votive cards or votive pictures, not infrequently artistically designed, are votive offerings and thus objects that are publicly offered on the basis of a vow or betrothal as a thank-you gift for salvation from hardship, danger, illness and the like. The small-format votive cards usually contain a small devotional picture and are designed with elaborate ornamentation.
