  • Beschreibung: benannt "Die Loewin. Leaena". Darstellung einer liegenden Löwin vor einem Felsvorsprung, umgeben von Sträuchern. Die Löwin scheint die Witterung aufgenommen zu haben, denn sie blickt aufmerksam und konzentriert auf einen Punkt außerhalb des Bildraumes, für die Betrachtenden nicht sichtbar.

  • Description: named "The Loewin. Leaena". Depiction of a reclining lioness in front of a rocky outcrop, surrounded by bushes. The lioness seems to have picked up the scent, for she gazes attentively and intently at a point outside the picture space, not visible to the viewers.

  • Condition: Good condition. Isolated pale discolourations and foxing. The corners of the sheet are bumped, the lower margin shows crease marks and smaller tears.
