Here’s the standard equipment and factory options this car came with:
-3.0 liter 24-valve twin turbo V-6, with air-to-air intercoolers, fuel injection, dual overhead camshafts (DOHC), and variable valve timing: 300 hp @6,400 rpm and 283 lb-ft @ 3,600 rpm (same horsepower as a 1991 Ferrari 348)
-4-wheel vented disc brakes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
-4-wheel independent suspension
-Adjustable suspension settings (Touring and Sport)
-Limited-slip differential
-Speed-sensitive power steering
-Front and rear factory spoilers
-Pearlescent “Black Pearl Diamond” paint
-Factory T-tops
-Fog lights
-Leather seats (still in great shape)
-Leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift boot
-Retractable cargo cover for rear hatch – recently replaced with a brand-new OEM cargo cover
-Cruise control
-Automatic climate control (the A/C still blows cold air out of the vents at 25° degrees Fahrenheit)
-Power 6-way seat on the driver’s side, with manual lumbar adjustment
-Power windows
-Power door locks
-Power side mirrors with defrosters
-Keyless entry system
-Theft deterrent system
I still have the original owner’s manual, genuine titanium ignition key, valet key (prevents access to the glove box), space-saver spare tire, inflater bottle for the spare tire (probably empty by now), aluminum jack, aluminum folding wheel stops, aluminum lug wrench, storage bags for T-Tops, etc.
Here are some of the enhancements I’ve made:
-SSR GT3 wheels – bright satin with polished lip
· 18x 8.5 front
· 18x 10.0 rear
-Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires – less than 3,000 miles on them
· 235/40ZR18 front (made in USA)
· 275-35ZR18 rear (made in USA)
-Stillen dual intakes
-Stillen stainless steel cat-back exhaust system (sounds amazing—even my wife loves the sound of it)
-JWT Sport 500 turbos (they replaced the original turbos at 108,714 miles)
-Stillen boost gauge (installed on driver’s side A-pillar)
-Stillen intercoolers
-Stillen intercooler air ducts
-Samco silicon upper intercooler boost hose set
-Stillen oil cooler
-Apexi AVC-R electronic boost controller
-Apexi Turbo Timer
-Performance tune on chip with switchable modes for gasoline, E85, a valet mode, etc.
-RaceLogic traction control unit (for inclement weather)
-WINFactory top feed stainless steel fuel rail (allows running E85 fuel)
-New EFI harness
-Engine grounding kit with heavy-gauge cables
-Howe Racing Enterprises dual-core performance radiator
-Southbend K06046-SS Stage 3 Daily Driver 510 Ft-Lb clutch (it replaced the original clutch at around 110,000 miles)
-Powertrix adjustable front control arms and tension rods – brand new
-Urethane bushings installed on subframe, transmission, differential, front lower arms, and steering rack
-Stillen HICAS bypass (eliminates the problematic factory rear-wheel steering)
-Extra heavy-duty hatch lifts, that easily lift the heavy back hatch with the factory spoiler – brand new
-Kenwood stereo system (with an amplifier behind the passenger seat)
-Clifford alarm system
-Custom-made 100% sheepskin seat covers – light charcoal in color and very plush (would now cost at least $2,000)
This car gets very nice compliments almost every time I take it out for a drive.
