A Shelley "Heather" 13419 New Cambridge shape milk jug & sugar bowl. C..1951. 

Pattern No 13419 Heather - Countryside scene with pink heather, trees, bridge and river. Gold edges. Pale green handle.  White ground. Entered into pattern book during or after 1940.

The back stamp is the 1940-1966 green cartouche mark. 

The shape of this tea trio is the New Cambridge shape which was produced between 1951 & 1962.

Dimensions: Milk jug - diameter of base 58mm (2.25 inches) / distance from pouring lip to edge of handle 145mm (5.75 inches) / height 93mm (3.6 inches) / Sugar bowl - diameter of base 64mm (2.5 inches) / diameter across top 115mm (4.5 inches) / height 65mm (2.5 inches).

Condition: Both pieces are in very good clean condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, rubbing or signs of wear. Paintwork is in good order with no fading to the pattern. Both pieces have a very good true sound to them when lightly tapped.
