There are four known versions of this same dish:
1. Copper base with copper accents and a brass beak  12" and 8" versions.
2. Brass base with brass accents and a copper beak 12" and 8" versions.

This same piece in lessor condition sold recently at Sotheby's for $5,292 Euros  or $5,791.00 dollars.

However, this must be an anomaly as we have found many examples of this same piece available for between $250 -$750 on the internet (price varying on condition.)   

A lot of the other ones we've seen look like they must had been used as ash trays or were poorly taken care of.

I have taken the liberty of putting up 4 photos of this same dish that show examples of ones that are ruined due to misuse, over polishing and being poorly stored.   Apparently this tray is somewhat fragile and is hard to find them in near mint condition.
