The Raptor 'Overlander'
Welcome to the sale of my campervan 'Kermit', who is now ready for a new owner. The conversion is brand new and unused, has been an extensive build on a very clean and rust free Ford Transit 2.4 RWD MK7.
The engine has had a full overhaul including new injectors ect. and a full service, and remap to about 200bhp.
The bodywork has been sprayed in Raptor, a polyurethane paint, which is very hard wearing, scratch resistant and UV stable so won’t get ruined on its overland adventures.
The appliances are brand new including a 50l fridge which will run on 12v/240v and a 2 burner hob and sink with self contained clean and grey water tanks and on board gas.
There is a 240v hook up point on the drivers side and a 2000w inverter inside to run all the 240v appliances without hook up for that totally off grid experience, including a brand new leisure battery.
Plenty of storage in the overhead lockers and wardrobe and shelving over the bed as well as under the bed.
It has a twin swivel passenger seat up front and a rock and roll bed/ seat in the rear. There is also a full black out curtain from the cab to the rear for privacy if on a site or stealth camping.
This has been converted to a very high standard and I hope the new owner will have great adventures in it. It is fully allergen free insulated including the floor, has a sound deadening with a vapour barrier.
It comes with all the paperwork and a full habitation certificate, in my name.
The van is stored in Staveley Chesterfield about 10 mins from Jct 29 of the M1.
