Well, here is some Andy Davis Cullet frog plates, jumbo tops, big remelts - please note that all of these pieces have flaws from tiny annealing cracks on up to pieces missing as well as stems of tops missing or chips on frog plates and possible frail edges (these we would be great pieces for remelting or even displaying) one of the big remelts has a decent size chunk missing from it and some have tiny annealing cracks - Andy was very well known in the marble community for his unique handmade pieces. As some may know, the great Andy Davis has passed away and may he R.I.P. - but he lives on through his great unique pieces. These pieces were made by hand using molds (which you may see the seams from the molds when squeezed together) and then using the cullet glass from certain contracts by Jabo in Reno Ohio, as well as D.A.S., Marble King and others, all Andy’s handmade pieces were embossed with his studio Art Logo on the bottom of all his work (frog plates and small bases) and he signed his name to the pieces (big remelts and contemporary marbles). The bigger spin tops are embossed with his company’s name around the base of the spin top. Please note if your familiar with Andy Davis pieces you will know that these were never 100% flawless due to the process when they were made and some were made thicker or thinner than others, some may be bigger or smaller than others and on regards to the Big Remelts and Frog Plates, the holes for the marbles on the frog plates might slightly be different from frog plate to frog plate, on regards to Andy Davis Spin Tops, the same applies that you will see there were never any two alike due the same process of how they were made, the bases were embossed on the bottom with Andy's logo, please note the tops as well may have shorter or longer stems, some pieces by Andy might have what they called a under pour (meaning not enough glass was added to the molds) which makes them even more unique. These collector pieces are getting harder and harder to find over the years. If you’re a collector of Andy Davis then your familiar with his pieces and if your not we ask that you kindly study up or reach out to someone to get some knowledge of these great pieces – these pieces are not mint and sold as is (with detailed description above) with no returns, so we ask you to choose wisely before you bid or buy.
