Manufactured by Meccano Ltd of Liverpool, circa 1937.
Lithographed tinplate body, black enamel chassis & compensated bogies.
Structurally sound & complete with all the correct original fittings.
Good bright sides & ends with old dull scuffs to the corners, very thin litho to the brake compartment on one side with grey oxidized metal showing through, some light tarnishing to the window silvering, roof resprayed to a good standard if rather too bright. Rusty couplings & axles.
One for restoration or run & enjoy as it is.

This is from a large consignment of vintage trains to be listed, that have spent the last 20 plus years standing on a layout in a garden shed. They have all been subjected to the ravages of time, cold & damp to varying degrees. Offered complete 'as is', for restoration / conservation projects - prior to breaking for spares.
