Manufactured by Meccano Ltd. of Liverpool, circa 1927 as part of the Hornby Series range of 0 gauge toy trains.
Nut & bolt construction, all metal with richly enamelled finish, gold transfers in excellent condition.
Free from dents, distortion & corrosion, complete with all the corect period fitting, large drop link couplings & open axle guard chassis.
The roof may have been refinished at some time in the past, if so it is to a very high standard with excellent matching enamel paint finish.
Overall condition; 8 out of 10, ready to use & enjoy.
