Inner-sleeve is original (artwork/credits); one seam partially split. Spine is partly readable with wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening shows signs of use and divots. Red label with Columbia around edge. (Not a cut-out.)

Middle Man, by Boz Scaggs, re-embraced the commercial rock appeal of Silk Degrees. The album reached no. 8 in the Billboard 200 album chart. Scaggs re-hired the members of the band Toto as session musicians, and shared song-writing credits with them. Two singles reached the Billboard Hot 100: Breakdown Dead Ahead at no. 15, and Jojo at no. 17. Writing for Smash Hits in 1980, David Hepworth described Middle Man as an "impeccably tasteful collection of sophisticated white soul".
