Map depicts several small towns and villages; the boundaries of the entirety of the area of the Towns of North Salem and Southeast, and the boundaries of the partial area of the Towns of Carmel, Kent, Patterson, Somers, Lewisboro, and Bedford; and the partial area of the Connecticut Towns of Ridgefield, Danbury, and New Fairfield.

Significant waterbodies exist throughout the map area, including the Lakes of Mahopac, Peach, Gilead, Glenida, and Waccabuc, the Reservoirs of West Branch, Middle Brook, East Branch, Bog Brook, Titicus, Muscoot, and Boyd Corners, and the Rivers of Croton, Middle Branch Croton, West Branch Croton, and East Branch Croton.

Also depicted are railroads, roads, structures, the boundary line of the counties of Putnam/Westchester, and the New York/Connecticut state line.

Condition: Graphic area is very good, foxing limited to a very small portion of the graphic map area in the upper right corner and a small graphic area of Danbury, CT, toning is appropriate for a 113-year-old map, the borders have some foxing and fraying.  
The reverse has explanation of topographic features and a legend of map symbols.
