An original,  WWII photograph of the a woman in the Women's Auxiliary Australian Air Force in uniform.

Black & White Photo sighted is 6-1/8" x 4-1/8". The photograph appears to be in very good condition.   There is a notation on verso of the photograph. 

This photograph was found in an estate of a family who was leaving Canton, Ohio in 1965 for Australia .  There was a piece of paper found in a yearbook indicating the name of the young girl, Carole Burger.  "Carole's mother came to the states as a young war bride in April of 1946.  This will be her first trip back home in 18 years."   The three boarded the SS CHUSAN on May 2, 1965 for Australia.
