This rare fossil bivalve (Cardinia speceis) that was collected from Connesby Quarry, Scunthorpe, England, many years ago and has been recently prepared and polished by Stone Treasures. It is approx 200 million years old (Jurassic) with amazing colour and calcite preservation. it displays beautifully !

Size of specimen measures approx 15cm x 8.3cm x 4.5cm, with the bivalve itself approx 13cm x 6cm.
