From Novembe 1980, and the team supreme of John Byrne and Chris Claremont are adding more back-story for our various mutants. Kitty Pryde becomes “Sprite” and dons the official black and yellow school uniform. Speaking of fashion, Wolverine ditches his LOUD yellow and blue togs for a more earthtone-friendly brown and tan. Also featured, the 1st appearance of Heather Hudson, later to become the Guardian, then Vindicator of Alpha Flight fame. All this, and the Wendigo as well (with a flashback to Wolverine’s first appearance in the Marvel universe fighting the ever-lovin’ Hulk! Fun stuff! Comic is in VERY good condition with the mildest of cover wear - it’s pretty much spent the last 44 years in a plastic bag, Bub! NOTE: I use Priority Flat Rate Mailers, and charge only $5 (and add plenty of extra cardboard for protection!)
