For sale is a coffee pot made by a German maker around 1800. I think it might be made by Limbach but could be a number of other makers like Hoechst for example. It is nicely hand painted with a ring of poppies as well as lots of fancy gold trim. The pot and lid are in good condition with the finial on the lid reattached and some gold wear to both pieces. The main body has a chip to the spout's side and one to the top rim neither of which is super terrible and both can be turned towards the back for display purposes. The piece is marked underneath with an impressed letter L as well as an incised line.
