Antique carved wooden trencher or dough bowl from the 19thc, with red paint appearing to have been added within the last 40 years. Trencher is out of round with uneven sides, measuring 16" long x 11 1/2" wide x 3 1/2" to the top of the rim. As shown there is a shrinkage crack on the bottom along with utensil marks; on the underside there are a few small spots of white paint, scuffs and scratches. All sides shown, plus closeups of wear and detailing.
