Late 18th or early 19thc antique folk art painted blanket chest in original mustard paint with blue trim. Originated in Pennsylvania. Hand forged lock and iron heart handles(one handle noted to be missing the bail). Measures 26" long x 14" wide x 12" tall. Lovely color, with wear to paint. Features dovetailed corners and square nails throughout. One handle is missing the bail as shown. Really an amazing piece in original paint, very clean inside.
