This exquisite pair of antique silver soectales are a beautiful example of Georgian style. With a date mark indicating they were crafted in Chester in  1782, the solid silver spectacles are both elegant and functional.

No makers mark.

The intricate design of these spectacles showcases the skilled craftsmanship of the pre-1800 era. This item is perfect for collectors of silver antiques and those who appreciate the beauty and history of Georgian style.

These are gentleman's spectacles I believe, I have a large head and although the arms don't go behind my ears, I could wear these.

A new pair of plain green lenses would set these off beautifully, and be a perfect accessory for a fan of the steam punk style.

Also included is what is probably the original case, made from faux tortoiseshell, and very badly cracked and warped.

Note: price will not be reduced below start price.
