Beginning in 1992, the Mint introduced a special version of the annual proof set in which the dime, quarter, and half dollar are struck in 90% silver, which had not been used for circulating coins since 1964. Offered here is the first series of United States silver proof sets issued from 1992-1998, commonly referred to as the “black box sets” due to their packaging. Each set contains 1 Lincoln cent, 1 Jefferson nickel, 1 silver Roosevelt dime, 1 silver Washington quarter, and 1 silver Kennedy half dollar. You will receive 7 sets in the original government packaging, one from each of the years 1992 to 1998, for a total of 35 coins.
