Please note I am NOT an expert on this toy, so all this information is just my opinion, you'll have to be the judge of this fantastic collectors item for yourself. This is buttons , the puppy with a brain , a tin toy made by MARX. this fantastic collectors item, has a copyright date of 1961 on the box. The Box itself does have tears, rips, stains, and is taped in lots of spots, but it is there, but I believe that's all to be expected for as old as this item is. the color and most of the box is there which is really cool. The toy itself looks like it's in fantastic shape , now I did not put batteries in there but the battery box itself looks like it's never been used, and it looks like it's in really nice condition, but  thats my opinion, take a look at the pictures, all the buttons in front of the toy puppy work well  ,they all move ,but 2 of the levers on the right don't go all the way back up , but still work ,now this particular item I think is in really  nice shape, but this is from 1960s , so this is a used toy  not in perfect condition, but what a great find . I believe this is a fantastic collectors item. I found this item on the east coast of the United States ,the Maryland area to be exact, and there's an auction tag that says Marx toy dog buttons battery operated in original box 1960 and has a original price tag of $150 on there, and on the back it has a auction  number, which is really cool . the person I got this from said he had bought it at an auction in the 1970s which is really cool. Now I didn't try to clean this up at all, I didn't try to do anything whatsoever to this item, this is exactly the way I found it. I just took pictures, so this would be a fantastic gift for any collector or any collection.. This is definitely the only one that I have like this, but I do have a lot of different toys and cool collectors items so if you like collecting these fantastic items, please save me as a seller. Please make sure and take a look at ALL the pictures ,and if you  have any questions at all , or need more pictures, feel free to contact me. Thank you so much for looking and good luck.
