BLUE ARAGONITE SPHERE CARIBBEAN BLUE CALCITE 50 MM 172 G

This is absolutely divine Blue Aragonite Sphere also known as Caribbean Calcite. It’s a gorgeous light turquoise colour giving a instant sense of calm and relaxation.

Aragonite is a relative rare member of the Carbonite mineral family. These minerals are an important part of the Earth’s crust and are located in sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous rocks. Carbonates are minerals which contain the carbonate group CO3 as their basic structural unit. 

Aragonite is chemically identical to Calcite and forms in a very similar way.  In fact, Aragonite naturally alters into Calcite under the right geological conditions.

This listing is for a Blue Aragonite sphere from Pakistan. It has a sky blue colour with browm lines. There are few natural cavities with the largest one is approx. 27 mm x 15 mm.

The sphere is 50 mm in diameter with the weight of 172 g.

Images were taken indoors in fluorescent light which I found accurately transfer the true colour for this sphere.
