For sale is a really nice tile / plaque that I have not much of a clue on. It appears to be made of some sort of faience / pottery / ceramic material. I bought it because it looked interesting to me. I tried to do some research but that didn't help too much. I did find similar tiles that some claimed were from the mid 19th century and others as far back as the mid 18th century. I am sure it is a true antique and this one here looks pretty old - older than the ones I have seen in my research but I am not an expert at all. It appears to be Middle Eastern. The tile is hand painted with a Middle Eastern man riding a brown horse while holding a bird - presumably a falcon - in his left hand. The painted parts are in relief and it is all hand painted and really quite nice. Like I said - I am not
