This very stylish waste paper basket which is made using wood and copper has a wonderful sleek Art Deco design and is attributed to Jacques émile Ruhlmann.

Dating from the c1930 and retailed by Dupre & Cie, 141 Faubourg, St Honore, Paris, France this fabulous antique waste bin is of beautiful quality and will look wonderful in the home or office.

Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann, was a French furniture designer and interior decorator, who was one of the most important figures in the Art Deco movement. His furniture featured sleek designs, expensive and exotic materials and extremely fine craftsmanship, and became a symbol of the luxury and modernity of Art Deco.

Dupre & Cie were art and office suppliers located on Rue du Faubourg, Saint-Honor which is the location where luxury stores and fashion brands have a store in the heart of Paris so is a prestigious address.
