This painting was completed by the Artist from a photograph she took at Stonehaven Harbour, the Sun was shining, it was a warm Summers Day and boats were sailing in and out of the harbour area. Not alway is the weather this fine in Stonehaven and in Winter there are wild seas, storms and flooding in the Town, but this day was special to Tourists and Locals it brought many out to enjoy the fine weather. The camera caught a moment in time and the colours reflect the sparkling waters with greens and blues, the hills around the Town are fairly high with Dunnotter Castle looking down on the nearby shore, the area is steeped in History and has many interesting places to visit for those on holiday, the Artist stays nearby and loves to paint the Town and Countryside in oil paint.

The painting is framed with a white wooden frame it measures 53 cms x 62 cms or 21 inches x 2 ft and is ready to hang.
