Aqua glass embossed beer bottle from the Yale Brewing Co. of New Haven, Connecticut, with original wire bail cap, circa 1900s to 1910s. The text on the front of the bottle has Yale Breewing Co., New Haven, Conn., set in a circle with 12 Fl. Oz. at center. Nathaniel W. Kendall (1848-1921) bought out the Quinnipiac Brewery in 1885 and eventually changed the name to the Yale Brewing Co. in 1901. He wisely sold the business in 1919, just after the passage of the 18th Amendment. This very attractive clean bottle stands just over 10” tall and is just under 2 ¾” in diameter at bottom. The bottle is in very good condition with only very light wear and soiling. A very nice early New Haven CT beer bottle!
