For sale is a vintage UTA Douglas DC-10 airplane desktop display model made in France by MeTex . The model is in 1/100 scale and has a wingspan of 19.5 inches and is 21.5 inches long. The model is in the vintage livery of UTA, Union des Transports Aériens, which is now part of Air France. The model carries the registration F-BTDB. The airplane comes with its original swivel-ball chrome tripod stand and is marked "Made in France" on the belly. The model was made by MeTex, Maquette d’étude et d’Exposition in Paris, now out of business.
The model is in good condition with soiling, a few nicks, and paint loss around the removable tail section.
