Original Motley Crue bassist and founding member Nikki Sixx was addicted to heroin, for a good while, many years ago. He got cleaned up, and has been clean and sober for almost TWENTY THREE years! (This coming June 2nd will mark that milestone.) His drug-fueled life was chronicled with a book called 'The Heroin Diaries', which I've read, and it's actually really good! Sixx started a side project band in 2007, called Sixx:A.M., and they released a "companion" album to the book titled 'The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack', released the same year.

Ten years later, Sixx:A.M. released the TEN year anniversary of that album, and they add THREE tracks! All three are on the original album, but now they're here again, "re-imagined". And they actually came out great! Sixx:A.M. also adds a DVD, with FOUR music videos, and a documentary on 'The Heroin Diaries-Ten Years Later'. This is the limited edition TWO disc version. And this thing is STILL SEALED and NEVER OPENED or PLAYED! Brand new Sixx:A.M., on CD and remastered with bonus tracks, and a DVD added...does it get any better than that?
