I don't know a lot about these bottles, but based on others I found on ebay, I believe this information is correct.

Because the bottle has a label on it, I am not going to attempt to clean the inside. The spots you see are all dirt on the inside of the bottle.

The bottle measures 8 inches in length and is about 3 1/4 inches wide at the bottom (see last two photos).

I see no cracks or chips on the bottle. This bottle would surely clean up nicely, but I think the label may be important, so I am leaving it as found.

LARGER SIZE OWL DRUG CO. WESTERN MEDICINE BOTTLE ~ WITH THE GRANDPAPPY OWL

This nice looking Owl Drug Company medicine bottle from San Francisco or Los Angeles. This larger 8 ounce example was dug in LA. many years ago, and has the furry grandpappy one wing owl on it. This is strongly embossed, as seen here. The detail on the owl is very nice. The condition of the bottle is near perfect, with no chips, checks, pings or dings. But there is some very slight patchy haze spots, and some light scratches here and there. Overall the bottle is quite clean, and displays nicely. The clear class has a slight purple tinge to it, from the sun. Please see the pictures, as they tell the best story. Bottle is hand blown, and would date from about 1900.

*It is boldly embossed on the front, showing the nicely feathered owl on the embossed "TODCO" mortar and pestle, with "Trade Mark" below. The base is plain. On the upper back side it is embossed ~ "THE OWL DRUG CO." This rectangular example from the west measures 8 inches tall, and 3 1/4 inches across the base. You will be well pleased with this Owl Drug Company bottle from California. A very nice piece of old drugstore pharmacy history.
