Going through my parents’ house we found some interesting things tucked away in the drawers, cabinets and closets.

Here we have an old  wind-up, spinning pendulum type clock. the back says W&A Schmid-Schleniker, Western Germany and Jewel Unadjusted, whatever than means.

The face says Schmid Jeweled, and I'm pretty sure it says Contessa.

I'm guessing someone wound it a bit tight because i can't turn the key either way. The spinning pendulum will move back and forth but I could not get it to operate. Needs someone who knows what to do.
