For sale is a rare figurine made made by Ansbach in the 18th century . It is of a nicely dressed lady holding a basket filled with flowers in front with a single flower in her left hand. She has a pearl necklace with a cross pendant in the front which is quite typical for this maker. Nice apron on a plain skirt and a purple top. On her head she has a little flat hat also typical for this maker. Ansbach started making porcelain around 1758 and the factory flourished from 1758 through 1777. They closed somewhere around 1860 but the factory was already in private hands since 1807. The figurine is not marked underneath which is also typical of Ansbach since their figures where never marked with the factory marks.
