PLEASE NOTE: The books comes with 2 rare extras: 1) an 8.25 x 5.82-inch color glossy photo of a handsome young guy kissing a sleeping Stuart. It's not a standard 8 x 10-inch publicity photo with info about the movie at the bottom edge, but likely a quality print of a shot taken on-set with a member of the animatronics unit having fun. The guy in the pic doesn't match any of the cast members.
*There are also thirteen 8.875 x 6.76 "pages" from an unbound STUART LITTLE CALENDAR FOR THE YEAR 2000, printed on semi-thick, white, semi-glossy stock. The top page announced the movie's opening on Dec.10, 1999.
E.B. White's Stuart Little has been a favorite children's story since its first publication in the U.S. in 1945. This film version, directed by Rob Minkoff, who hit a grand slam with Disney's THE LION KING, was a box office hit for Columbia Pictures. Geena Davis and Hugh Laurie, along with their young son Jonathan Lipnicki (Renee Zellweger's son in JERRY MAGUIRE) play the family that decides to adopt the talking mouse Stuart Little (voiced by Michael J. Fox). Nathan Lane voiced Snowbell The Cat, Stuart's nemesis. This book covers includes the script and covers all aspects of the film, with much attention to the masterful creation of the totally convincing white mouse by Sony Pictures Imageworks. It would just be a near-excellent copy of an available title but for the rarer color photo and promotional unbound Stuart Little calendar, which make it a unique collectible.
